Paradox has released a dev diary for Crusader Kings II: Rajas of India. This diary focuses on the three new Indian religions (Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain) and their different strengths and weaknesses.

Hinduism grants some war bonuses, specifically a good Holy War CB on non-Indian religions and the ability to raid them, but the downside is that the caste system is in place and you can get screwed if you're married to or are the wrong caste; Buddhism grants a bonus to Learning, but their Holy War CB is for counties only; lastly, Jainism has no Holy War CB and any violent acts greatly effects their piety, on the plus side, they have a larger Demesne bonus and a flat opinion bonus for vassals.

Also, none of the groups have Heresies, but they all have different branches which can be selected and they also have different Patron Gods. Hopefully the latter will be implemented for the other Pagan religions.
